This fucking sucks, but, as you may have heard, there will be several tropical storms converging on the NYC area Saturday, and the Coast Guard is not allowing any boats to go out on the water Saturday unless it's strictly necessary. So, for the first time in 7 years, and over 400 cruises, we have to postpone the three shows we had scheduled for Saturday - the Mets cruise in the afternoon, the Derek James/April Smith boat in the evening, and the late night People Don't Dance No More party.
Here's what's going down:
The Derek James/April Smith cruise is moving forward exactly 24 hours, to Sunday September 7th. Otherwise all details are the same - same boat, same times. If you purchased tickets in advance and can't make the Sunday cruise, contact Ticketweb and they will issue a full refund.
The Slap You In Public/Gildas & Masaya cruise that was supposed to be late Saturday night is now happening Sunday afternoon - boarding at 2pm, cruise from 3-6. Same deal applies, re: Ticketweb & refunds. We think an afternoon dance cruise will be a lot of fun...
The Mets game, and therefore the Mets cruise, have been postponed to Sunday. The game will begin at 2:15pm; the cruise will begin boarding at 11:30AM and leave East23rd Street at noon, arriving in Queens between 1:30 & 2. All tickets - game and cruise - will be honored. If you purchased tickets and can't make it, email jessica@rocksoff.com ASAP and she'll be glad to help you. If your tickets were cruise-only we can issue an automatic refund. If you bought a game ticket through us as well we can refund the price of the cruise, but not the price of the Mets ticket. We will, however, mail your Mets tickets to you, and they can be exchanged at the stadium for tickets to another upcoming game.
They say there's a first time for everything...
